NWRC Research Scientists: Emily W. Ruell
Emily Ruell works in the Regulatory Support Services Unit at the National Wildlife Research Center (NWRC) and leads product registration activities.
She manages the development, use, and maintenance of regulated products (including pesticides, pest control devices, and certain animal drugs and veterinary biologics) used for wildlife damage management by Wildlife Services and cooperators.
Prior to working at NWRC, Emily conducted research in conservation genetics and evolutionary biology at Colorado State University and environmental policy for the U.S. Geological Survey.
Support Unit
There are five distinct regulatory compliance and facilitation components within the RSSU – technology transfer, product registration, NWRC environmental compliance, NWRC safety, and NWRC Quality Assurance.
