Notice of Availability - Pre-Decisional Environmental Assessment: Semiaquatic Mammal Damage Management In Oregon, USDA Wildlife Services-Oregon
Wildlife Services (WS), a program within the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, is announcing the availability of a predecisional Environmental Assessment (EA). The EA analyzes the potential environmental impacts of alternatives for WS’ involvement in semiaquatic mammal damage management. The proposed action is for WS to implement an adaptive, integrated approach to using a variety of non-lethal and lethal techniques for reducing semiaquatic mammal damage to human safety, agriculture, property, and natural resources in Oregon. WS is requesting that the public review the EA and provide substantive comments no later than June 7, 2024.

Interested parties may view the EA and provide comments by following this link . Comments, information, and analyses provided should be as specific as possible and an explanation of why the information is important to the analysis should be included.
